    A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001, in Bateman-Carroll Funeral Chapel for Gladys Louise Humble, who died Aug. 23 at age 87.
    Mrs. Humble was born Gladys Louise Pietzold on April 29, 1914, in Portland. She graduated from Washington High School. She was a homemaker and berry farmer who lived in the Portland area all her life. In 1936, she married Jack Humble; he died in 1996.
    Survivors include her daughter, Pat Harm; brother, Richard Pietzold; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
    Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.

Survivors include her husband, William, at home; two sons, Rocky of Cougar and Keldy of Olympia; one sister, Dorothea Robinson of Newberg, Ore; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Pleasant View Community Church in Ariel. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
