    Miles Lewis Hronek, 94, passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, in Orofino, after a short illness.
    Miles was born April 16, 1910, in Pocahontas, Iowa, to his devoted parents, John P. and Daisy Hronek.
    Miles married Evelyn Cecelia Bishop in Clarkston in 1936. They enjoyed a happy marriage for 52 years.
    Miles and Evelyn lived in Nezperce in the early years of their marriage, and Miles worked in the retail lumber industry. They moved to Grangeville in 1941. In 1943, Miles was drafted into the Navy. Upon his return from the service, Miles moved his family to Pullman and continued to pursue his profession in the retail lumber business. Miles spent the next 40 years in retail lumber and home construction.
    Although Miles never "retired" he did move to Renton, Wash., in the 1980s and helped his youngest son, John, build a home. Miles and Evelyn lived in Renton for the remainder of their lives.
    Miles was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, parents John P. and Daisy, sisters Belle and Sara; and brothers Edward and Walter.
    He will be greatly missed by sister Charlotte, sons Galen and Debra, Gareth and Kay Lynn and John and Colette; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
    Cremation has taken place. A celebration of the life of Miles Hronek was held in Renton Saturday. on Sunday, 27 February 2005 Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho.

    Dorothy Mae (Stillwell) Fluharty of Boise died on Sunday, May 8, 2005 in a Boise care facility. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Avenue, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at Dry Creek Cemetery (Sunset View section) with Rev. Orvil Stiles officiating. After the service, please join family and friends at the Star Senior Center, 102 S. Main, Star, Idaho. Dorothy, the second of four children, was born April 2, 1918 in Boise at St. Alphonsus Hospital to Walter P. and Maude Ella (Fisher) Stillwell of Eagle. She resided in Eagle for most of her life. She graduated as class valedictorian from Eagle High School in 1937. She married Donald R. Fluharty on July 29, 1939 in Eagle. Dorothy loved flowers, gardening, and spending time with family. She was a true homemaker whose mashed potato dinner rolls were always a necessity at family and holiday gatherings. Dorothy never met a stranger in her life and always had a kind word for whomever she met. She was a former member of the Eagle Methodist Ladies Aid and played cards for many years with her canasta club. Mom and Dad were fond of the history of Idaho and of the Eagle area in particular, since Mom´s family came to Eagle on a wagon train in the mid-1800s and Dad´s family came to Eagle from the township of Rosetta (near Culdesac, Idaho) in 1923. Dorothy is survived by her husband of almost 66 years, Donald; a son, Don G. (Janie) of Grangeville; a daughter, Marilyn Parsons, and a son, Ted (Linda Goar), both of Boise; grandchildren Teri Gregory, Lorrie (Mike) Fluharty Asker, Brian (Heather) Gregory, Tris Fluharty (Lisa Heiser), and Amee (Ted) Fluharty Hardy; great-grandchildren Patrick, BriAnna, Garrad, Jonathan, Teague, Abbygayle, and Paxton; brothers Walter (Lucille), and Glenn (Mary) Stillwell; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Bonnie. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers and staff at Valley View Care Center, particularly Nurse Peggy McMillan for the excellent care you gave our mother. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Clara Michael and her staff at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah for all the tender care you gave our mother over the last year.     Born July 17, 1923, in Kilbourne to James Carl and Faye Sears Gosnell, he married Eleanor Rochester. She survives.
    Also surviving are one son, Rod (and Kathy) of Taylorville; two daughters, Linda (and Charles) Hughes of Morton and Connie (and Jim) Whitehead of Carlinville; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Juanita Bahl of Kilbourne.
    He was preceded in death by two brothers.
    He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
    He worked for International Harvester.
    Cremation has been accorded, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Central Florida Cremation in Tavares.
