    A memorial service for Anne L. Scoggins of Amity will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Amity United Methodist Church, Amity, with the Rev. Ruth Marsh officiating.

    Private interment will be in Amity Cemetery.

    Mrs. Scoggins died Oct. 9, 1999, in Willamette Valley Medical Center, McMinnville. She was 76.

    She was born May 3, 1923, in Portland, the daughter of Louis and Annyce Agee Allen. She attended Portland schools. She worked for Jantzen Woolen Mills before moving to Amity in 1949.

    She and Willard "Bill" Scoggins were married Jan. 15, 1951, in Stevenson, Wash.

    Mrs. Scoggins worked at Amity Food Market for seven years and for LaVelle's Draperies in Amity for 10 years, retiring in 1980. She belonged to Amity United Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting and needlework.

    Survivors include a son, Louis Eddy of Clackamas; a brother, William Allen of Henderson, Nev; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995 and by a brother.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Amity United Methodist Church in care of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, 135 N.E. Evans St., McMinnville, OR 97128.
