  AGEE, Bruce Earl — Age 55, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2006. He was born on October 2, 1950, in Myrtle Creek, the son of Melvin Earl and Betty (Hart) Agee. He was a Vietnam Veteran of 18 months. Mr. Agee was featured in “Loggers World” and was considered an outstanding businessman. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, building his 1955 Chevy Wagon and he was also “one of the worst fisherman ever”. Bruce held a special place in his heart for children. With Bruce, his family always came first. He was known to “talk to the Lord frequently.” On November 23, 1991, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Tina Britton. He is survived by his wife, Tina; children, Chad Agee of Myrtle Creek; Davin Agee and his wife, Melissa, also of Myrtle Creek; Lora Agee of Roseburg, Oregon; brothers Jim Agee and his wife, Angela of Central Point, Oregon; David Agee and his wife, Sandra of Tracy, California; sister, Linda Mayfield and her husband, Gary of Medford, Oregon; grandchildren, Skyler and Colton of Myrtle Creek; Christopher of Roseburg; his in-laws, Bill and Martha Britton; and numerous nieces and nephews. All those that loved and knew him will deeply miss the “Man of Steel”. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2006, at the Garden Valley Christian Assembly in Roseburg at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Howard Johnson. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor’s Family Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Special Olympics or charity of choice. There will be a reception following the service at the Myrtle Creek Elk’s Lodge.
