    Thomas R. ‘Tom’ Lelack

    KEIZER — Tom Lelack, 80, died Tuesday.
    He was born in Gervais and served in the Marine Corps from 1939 to 1945. He moved from Salem to Keizer in 1964. He was a driver for Pacific Motor Trucking, retiring in 1981. He enjoyed his yard and traveling and was a member of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus.
    Survivors include his wife, Margaret, whom he married in 1946; daughters, Kathy Lelack of Salem and Becky Martinez of Corvallis; brother, Pete of Salem; and five grandchildren.
    Visiting will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Keizer Funeral Chapel. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where he was a member. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Contributions: Willamette Valley Hospice or the church. Salem, Marion County, Oregon.

    Peter Lelack, 81, of Salem died Saturday.
    He was born in Gervais and was a farmer near Gervais for several years and had farmed onions in the Lake Labish/Woodburn area before moving to Mount Angel. He moved to Salem in 1999. He was a member of the Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Good Sam Travel Club and enjoyed fishing and camping. His wife, Catherine, whom he married in 1938, died in 1999.
    Survivors include his sons, Jim of Woodburn, Dave of Salem and Pat of Texas; daughter, Joanne Coon of Silverton; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
    Rosary will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in Cornwell Colonial Chapel in Woodburn. Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Catholic Church in Woodburn. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Gervais.
    Contributions: Sacred Heart Parochial School fund. Salem, Marion County, Oregon.
