  Helen Scheibner passed away July 8, 2011 in Vancouver, Washington. She was born May 13, 1920 in Hillsdale, Oregon to Rudolph and Margaret Graf. The family moved to Hillsboro, OR when she was four years old, and Helen graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1937. Following her graduation, Helen worked as a bookkeeper at Fulton Park Dairy and Norris, Beggs, and Simpson. In 1946 she married Louis Scheibner, and they moved to Vancouver in 1958. Louis passed away in 1992. Helen will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who had many interests and hobbies including gardening, sewing and painting. She is survived by her sons, Frank Scheibner of Vancouver and Stan Scheibner (Nancy) of Brush Prairie, WA; and her daughter Sandy Riley (Dan) of Vancouver; six grandchildren, Jeff Riley, Jake Riley and Scott Riley of Vancouver, Josh Riley (Bonnie) of Albuquerque, NM; Billy Scheibner and Kimberly Scheibner of Brush Prairie; and great-granddaughter Baylie of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Newbrey of Beaverton, OR and her brother, John Graf of Portland, OR. The family would like to thank Kaiser Hospice for their loving care. A memorial graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Medical Teams International or the Salvation Army.
