Former Petoskey resident John K. Angevine, 83, of Novi, died July 11, 1995 at home. Funeral and interment was held Friday, July 14, at Parkview Memorial Park in Livonia. Mr Angevine was born July 24, 1911, in Petoskey, the son of Curtis and Gladys (Benson) Angevine. Survivors include five children, Robert and his wife, Gloria, Walter and his wife, Ivory, Jim and his wife, Jackie, Mary Clayton and her husband, Bill and Barb Hykal and her husband, John. Mr. Angevine is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mildred Clemons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma. Arrangements were handled by the Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 340 Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice of South Eastern Michigan.

Survivors include her husband, John; three sons, Robert of Wolverine Lakes, Walter of Columbia, S.C. and Jim of Beaverton; two daughters, Mary Clayton of Bethel Springs, Tenn., and Barbara Hykal of Novi; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Werden, of Conway; and a sister, Eleanor Bernard, of Tennessee. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Benjamin Blum Hospitality House. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of service today, Jan. 3, at Stone Funeral Home, Petoskey.
