    Keith Love, a 38-year resident of Newerg, died Tuesday, January 12 at his home in Newberg. He was 48.
    Keith Love was born the son of Norman G. Love and the former Mary E. Moore in The Dalles on June 4, 1933. He came to Newberg as a child and attended Newberg schools. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and after an honorable discharge he worked for about a year in California. He then returned to Newberg and worked for a time for Consolidated Freightways in Portland. The past 10 years he has worked for Alexander Oil Co. in Newberg. On September 17, 1960 he was married to Barbara Ann Blodgett in Newberg. Keith enjoyed being with his family and also doing things by himself. Keith was a member of the Sherwood Robin Hood Elks and a former member of the Newberg Jaycees. He was captain of the Newberg Fire Department, which he joined in 1968, and was a trained emergency medical technician. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.
    Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 14 at Attrell's Newberg Chapel-Brown Funeral Home. Rev. Hillis Slaymaker officiated and private committal was at Valley View Memorial Park.
    Surviving are: his wfie, Barbara, of Newberg; two sons, Rick and Brian Love; Newberg; his mother-in-law, Betty Blodgett of Newberg; and one sister, Barbara Jean Cady of West Linn.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Newberg Fire Department's video training fund or to the Oregon Heart Association.
