  Ethel Edna (White) Lutz passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
  She was born Dec. 9, 1912, in Pekin to Charles and Hazel Woods White. She married Toler A. Lutz on Dec. 26, 1931. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1973.
  She was also preceded in death by one son, Norman Gene Lutz; two daughters, Margie Hayes and Vera Shults; an infant son; daughters-in-law, sons -in -law and grandchildren.
  Surviving children are; James and Beatrice Landrith, of Pekin; Dale Lutz, Charles Lutz, Donald and Rose Lutz, all of Vermont, Elanor Williammee, of Rushville, Ivy Watson, of Salem, Mo. and numerous grandchildren through six generations.
  Private family services will be held Tuesday Sept. 13, 2011, at Point Pleasant Cemetery.

  Carol was born July 27, 1941, in McMinnville, Ore. After graduating from Sweet Home High School in 1959, Carol attended the Corvallis Beauty School and worked for a short time as a hair stylist. In 1961, she married David Koechel and embarked on a journey through life as the wife of a U.S. Marine. After having the opportunity to live in many U.S. destinations such as California, Wisconsin, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina, Carol and Dave were finally transferred to Texas where they put down roots and have remained since 1976. In addition to her role as devoted mother and loving wife, Carol worked at the Boys' and Girls' Club of Arlington for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Valeeta Harbaugh.
  Survivors: Husband of 41 years, David Koechel; son, Michael Koechel; daughter, DeeAnn Pujats; grandchildren, Andrew James and Cameron Nicole Pujats; sisters and their husbands, Dorothy and Ray Dodge, Nancy and Lee Land, Terry Harbaugh and KC Harrison; sister-in-law, Glenora Grant; five nephews; two nieces; three great-nephews; four great-nieces; and countless friends.
