Mr. Clickner proudly served our country during World War II in Hawaii with the United States Navy as an Electricians Mate - 3rd Class from 1943 through 1946. On April 15, 1954, in Crown Point, IN, he was united in marriage to Esther Mary Putra. Surviving are his wife, Esther; daughter, Susan (Jeffrey) Jorgenson; son, David (Margaret) Clickner; grandchildren, Michael Jr., Rachel and Jessie Peterson; great-grandchildren, Zoe and Gavin Peterson; brother, Thomas Clickner, all of Racine; and sister, Doris (Jim) Bryant of Orfordville, WI. Further surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clickner was preceded in death by his sons, Jeffrey H. Clickner in 1961 and Richard H. Clickner in 1999; brothers, Gerald and Raymond Clickner; and sister-in-law, Mary Clickner. In accordance to his wishes, Mr. Clickner will be cremated. Memorial services, with burial in Graceland Cemetery, will take place at a later date. Raymond graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1954. He taught art at Horlick High School in Racine from 1954 until 1966, when he moved to Mauston. He taught art at Mauston Area High School through May 1974. He then moved to Orlando, FL where he was employed at Creative Engineering until his death. Raymond is survived by his son, Lon Clickner of Orlando, FL; daughter, Theresa Clickner of Bowling Green, OH; brothers, Howard (Esther) Clickner and Tom (Mary) Clickner, both of Racine, WI; sister, Doris (Jim) Bryant of Orfordville, WI; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Allen Clickner, an infant daughter, Lisa Ann Clickner; and a brother, Gerald Clickner. A Memorial Service was held in Orlando, FL with Graveside Memorial Service at Graceland Cemetery in Racine on Saturday, October 12, 1996. after 14 September 1996.
