Five years later, he began to date this young lady and one year later she changed her name to Sylvia Wien. They were married November 14, 1981 at Jesus People Church in Minneapolis. December 18, 1982 they added Jeremy Mark Wien to the family. The following year, Mark, Sylvia and baby Jeremy moved to Amery, WI. November 4, 1985, Jesse Robert Wien joined the happy family. Heidi Michelle Wien was added to the family on June 13, 1988, shortly after they purchased their first home. The home was a fixer upper and Mark and several friends and relatives worked to remodel the little place by North Twin Lake. In 1996 they relocated across town to the house where Mark resided at his passing. Mark found a career working as an HVAC service technician, most notably working with Gerald Schwan Plumbing and Heating and Osceola Plumbing and Heating. When Mark wasn’t spending time with family or volunteering his time to the church, he would spend several hours with his amateur radio hobby. He was a member of the Polk County Amateur Radio Association and the Amateur Radio branch of the Salvation Army. Mark passed away at Region’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Mark was a loving father, husband and friend to many. He is remembered fondly and greatly missed by his family and numerous loved ones. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm at New Life Community Church in Amery. There will be visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm and for the hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Amery Cemetery. after 15 November 2015.
