  Last Sunday, July 30th, death called another Lincoln county citizen, John Wesley Merritt, who died at his home north of town.
  The deceased was born in January 1830. He came to this country from Missouri several years ago, and made one of our best citizens. Interment was made in the New Zion cemetery Monday.
  He leaves two sons, John T. and William Merritt formerly of this county and a daughter, Mrs. J.T. Key. The family have the sympathy of many friends.
