  • Obituary*: An obituary appeared in the Ina Irene Curl, 46, of Ocean Park died March 10, 1995, at home. She had suffered from cancer. Ms. Curl was born Sept.30, 1948 in Great Falls, Mont., to James and Marvene (Shanklin) Curl. She grew up in Great Falls and received her schooling there. She lived in Seattle, where she worked for the city engineering department. In 1988, Ms. Curl moved to Ocean Park where she owned and operated Shakti Cove Cottages. She also operated the Indian Taco Wagon which appeared at various events in the area. Ms. Curl was a people person who enjoyed watching, talking and listening to people. She enjoyed the challenge of working with her hands and dearly loved operating and taking care of her cottages. She will be remembered for her love for others and spirit of determination. She is survived by her partner, Penny Miller of Ocean Park; a brother, Victor Curl in California; a sister, Mary A. Curl in North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Penttila's Chapel by the Sea in Long Beach. Memorials may be made to Camp Victory or the Blue Sawhorse Animal Shelter, envelopes for which are available at Penttila's Chapel.     Mrs. June Shantz (June Kogelschatz), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kogelshatz, 203 Oak Dr., Redwood City, died yesterday in Lebanon, Mo., after a brief illness. A native of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Schantz had lived most of her life in Redwood City and Mountain View. She is survived by her husband, Loran, and two daughters, Hazel Lynn and Lora Gwendolyn. Mrs. Shantz was the sister of Mrs. J.A. Johnson and Mrs. R. G. Voris, both of Mountain View, and William Kogelschatz Jr. of Redwood City. She was the granddaughter of Mrs. A.J. Kogelschatz of San Francisco. Funeral services for Mrs. Shantz will be held Saturday in Lebanon.

Mr. Voris died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, in Ukiah. He was 76. Born July 12, 1923, in St. Brunswick, Canada, he was employed with various companies as an engineer. Surviving are his wife, Anita Voris of Willits; sons Ron G.
