MOUNTAIN VIEW - Gerald Thomas Voris, 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnay Voris of 3324 Carmel Drive, today was Santa Clara County's 58th traffic fatality of the year after he fell under the wheels of a milk truck yesterday near his home. Last year at this time, 78 persons had died of injuries suffered in county traffic accidents. Highway patrolmen said that Gerald was playing in the street and ran toward the curb as the milk truck pulled away. He tripped and was run over. Driver of the vehicle was William Steiner of San Jose, officers said. The child died two hours later in Palo Alto Hospital, where he was born. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Spangler Morturay. Interment will be in Alta Mesa Memorial Park.
