  Miranda Addaline Agee, 89, of Hackleman Grove, Albany, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosie Ingram Tuesday night following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held from the Fisher funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Alan Banks officiating. Interment will be in Riverside cemetery. She was born at Sodaville Jan. 26, 1857 and had spent her early life there before going with the family of her parents to southern Oregon She lived at Grants Pass and Medford for several years. From there she went to California and on to the state of Washington, returning to Albany in 1912. She remembered Linn county as it was in her childhood. She was married in 1873 at Smith River Corners, Cal., to James A. Cooksey, who died in 1908 and in 1903 she was married at Riverside, Cal., to Oscar Allen Agee who died in 1924. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rosie Ingram of Albany and Mrs. H.E. Hobart of Bandan, and a sister, Belle Buchanan of Edmonton, Canada; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a member of the Pentacostal Assembly of God.

After the service he was a chemist at the Nestle Milk plant here and then was transferred to Modesto, Calif., returning to McMinnville after his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Helen of McMinnville; two daughters, Mrs. K.L. (Nancy Scharf of Perrydale and Mrs. Robert (Patsy) Buswell of Willamina; two sons, Archie J. of Willamina and D. Michael of Sheridan, a stepson, Wayne Rotacher of Stockton, Calif; a brother, Raymond Lucey of McMinnville and a sister Lela McGoldrick of San Diego, Calif. and 11 grandchldren.

  A native of McMinnville, Murray had been employed as a chemist for a milk company in California until his retirement 11 years ago. He then returned to McMinnville. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of VFW.
