Billye Austin Andrews, 78, of Greenville, passed away Nov. 11, 2003 at her residence. She was born Dec. 2, 1924, to Walter R. and Tommie Landreth Austin in Hillsboro. She married Olan J. Andrews on Nov. 29, 1944 in Greenville. She was a homemaker and a cake decorator who she belonged to the House of Prayer. She was the Denton Section Missionette Director for several years. She is survived by her husband of nearly 59 years Rev. O.J. Andrews of Greenville; sons Joel Andrews of Richardson and Billy Jean Andrews of Austin; daughters Jessica Andrews of Dallas, Janice Andrews of Allen, and Linda Mandrell of Allen; sister Dixie Grant of Lone Oak; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Ballard officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
