  SPRINGFIELD - A memorial service will be April 8 for Joy Nadine Rowlett of Springfield, who died March 31 of complications due to pneumonia. She was 68.
  Rowlett was born April 7, 1936, in Eugene, to Kenneth and Clella McCadden Atterbury. She married Percy D. Rowlett in Portland in 1957.
  A life-long resident of Lane County, Rowlett graduated from Springfield High School in 1954.
  She was employed as a care provider.
  Rowlett enjoyed cross-stitch, board games and reading. She was a member of St. John's pinochle club.
  Survivors include a son, Shane of Troutdale; three daughters, Bonnie Nunn, Jody Winkle and Shelli Rowlett, all of Springfield; a sister, Kay Ebling of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
  A daughter, Vicky Pfaff, died previously.
  Friday's service will be at 2 p.m. at St. John the Divine Church, 2537 Game Farm Road in Springfield.

  Lifetime Springfield resident Joy Nadine Rowlett died March 31 of pneumonia. Mrs. Rowlett was 68.

R.J. Monroe, Airport Way, Seattle, declared in his report to the state patrol office that the tot darted into the road and ran into the bumper of his car. The accident occured at the west approach to the Skagit river bridge in this city. Monroe was not held. The boy was rushed to a local hospital where he was discharged after treatment.

He was a loving husband and father of three children, Shon and his wife Lisa, Ronnie and his wife Nikki, and Jody and her husband, Joe; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Susan; and his grandson Fostino. He is survived by his brothers, Gordon and Bill Atterbury.
