    SPRINGFIELD - A memorial service will be April 8 for Joy Nadine Rowlett of Springfield, who died March 31 of complications due to pneumonia. She was 68.
    Rowlett was born April 7, 1936, in Eugene, to Kenneth and Clella McCadden Atterbury. She married Percy D. Rowlett in Portland in 1957.
    A life-long resident of Lane County, Rowlett graduated from Springfield High School in 1954.
    She was employed as a care provider.
    Rowlett enjoyed cross-stitch, board games and reading. She was a member of St. John's pinochle club.
    Survivors include a son, Shane of Troutdale; three daughters, Bonnie Nunn, Jody Winkle and Shelli Rowlett, all of Springfield; a sister, Kay Ebling of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
    A daughter, Vicky Pfaff, died previously.
    Friday's service will be at 2 p.m. at St. John the Divine Church, 2537 Game Farm Road in Springfield.

    Lifetime Springfield resident Joy Nadine Rowlett died March 31 of pneumonia. Mrs. Rowlett was 68.
    She was born April 7, 1936, in Eugene, to Kenneth and Cleila (McCadden) Atterbury.
    She married Percy Rowlett in 1957 in Portland.
    She graduated from Springfield High School in 1954.
    She was employed as a caregiver.
    Mrs. Rowlett enjoyed playing cards and board games.
    She is survived by three daughters all of Springfield: Bonnie Nunn, Jody Winkie and Shelli Rowlett; son Shane Rowlett of Troutdale; sister Kay Ebling of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Vicky Pfaff.

    Mount Vernon, May 28 - Rodney Atterbury, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Atterbury, 110 Front street, Mount Vernon, is recovering from minor cuts and bruises suffered late Saturday when struck by a car. R.J. Monroe, Airport Way, Seattle, declared in his report to the state patrol office that the tot darted into the road and ran into the bumper of his car. The accident occured at the west approach to the Skagit river bridge in this city. Monroe was not held. The boy was rushed to a local hospital where he was discharged after treatment.

    A graveside celebration of life will be held for Sharon Christlieb, 69, of Medford, who passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2006. Pastor Larry Brown of Central Point Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2006, at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

    Sharon was born August 17, 1936 to Verneita M. Pickens and Elmo P. Atterbury of Ashland. She was a graduate of Medford High School and worked as a retail clerk in Medford.

    She was a dedicated Christian and member of the Central Point Seventh Day Adventist Church. Her hobbies were gardening and playing blackjack.

    Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Darryl Christlieb.

    She is survived by two sons, Douglas and Dennis Christlieb; two daughters, Pamela Golden and Sheryl Moore; two sisters, Colleen Schneider and Mary Ellen Plankenhorn; a brother, Richard Atterbury; 15 grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

She is survived by Gordon Atterbury; Bob Atterbury, William Atterbury and their spouses, 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Also sister, Helen Brown who preceded her in 2008; brother, ‘Lewis’ Bud Allen who passed away in 1991. A viewing will be held at Chapel of the Roses in Sutherlin from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor, Willis New officiating, at United Methodist Church in Sutherlin, Oregon. A memorial service will be held at her home following a graveside service at Fair Oaks Cemetery in Sutherlin. A special thanks to Mercy Hospice and family and friends.
    She will be loved and missed by all.

Bob attended school and lived out his remaining life in Sutherlin Oregon. He married his childhood sweetheart, Judy Russell, on November 16, 1969, and they shared 46 loving years together. Bob loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, yearly family camping trips and spending time on his deck. He worked in his family business, Dee’s Market, for over 40 years.

    In Bob’s words, his greatest accomplishment in life was his family. There was nothing he loved more than time spent with his family. He was a loving husband and father of three children, Shon and his wife Lisa, Ronnie and his wife Nikki, and Jody and her husband, Joe; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Susan; and his grandson Fostino. He is survived by his brothers, Gordon and Bill Atterbury.
