Dottie Marie Womer was born April 12, 1909, in Airlie. She received a degree
from Oregon College of Education. An elementary teacher for 40 years, she
moved in the early 1940s to Portland, where she taught in the Parkrose
School District. She was a member of the church for more than 50 years. In
1929, she married Ira M; he died in 1999.
Survivors include her sons, Robert and Ronald; five grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.
