  Mrs. Oldham was born Dec. 18, 1911, in Ben Ficklin, Texas, and was the daughter of the late Mary Ann (McVey) and Amos Finley Norton. She was a teacher, having taught in Floyd County for eight years and Brown County for 23 years. Mrs. Oldham enjoyed traveling, reading, playing games and watching television. Margie joined Joseph S. Oldham in marriage on June 6, 1940, in Floydada, Texas. They remained married for 37 years before Joe's passing in 1977. She was member of AARP, TRTA, ART/SPA, the Heartrackers Club, and was an avid volunteer for Woodland Heights Medical Center serving from 1993 to 1999 and recognized as Volunteer of the Year for 1996. Mrs. Oldham had resided in Lufkin for the last 28 years and was a member of Central Church of Christ.
  
  Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Myrna and John Lee of Buckholts, Texas, and Jo and Mike Cotton of Lufkin; granddaughters and husbands, Robin and Ron Osborn of Konawa, Okla., Annette and Glenn Escott and Lori and Van Van Dyke, all of Arlington; grandsons and wives David and Melissa Lee of Cameron, Texas, and Aaron and Kayla Cotton of Colorado Springs, Colo; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Roxie (Norton) Thomas of Conway, Ark; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Clara Oldham of Longview, Dwight and Jan Oldham of McKinney, and Bill and Monda Oldham of Carbon, Texas; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wanda and Wayne Allen of Paris, Texas. and like a daughter, Bonnie Cantwell and husband, Worthy of Plainview, Texas, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
  
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Oldham ; her parents; two brothers; four sisters and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
  
  Pallbearers will be David Lee, Aaron Cotton, Ron Osborn, Glenn Escott, George Van Dyke III and John Osborn.
