    PORT ORCHARD, WASH.
-- A service for Jessica Donahoe Gregory, 33, of Port Orchard, Wash., and formerly of Lewiston, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lewiston.
She passed away at Seattle's University of Washington Hospital on Friday, July 7, 2006, from stomach cancer.
Jessica leaves behind three beautiful daughters: Taylor, 13, Madison, 11, and Lily, 7.
Donations may be sent to Jessica's Girls College Fund, Zions Bank, 623 Main St., Lewiston, ID 83501. If you would like a receipt, please enclose a request for one.
Daughter Taylor wrote the following to her mother the day before she passed away:
"Wow! These past couple of years have really been hard, but I thought that I'd tell you that I love you no less. I mean, you are the only person who truly understands me who I have the most fun being around and the all-around best person I know.
"We have the best memories, like when we were in the car, we would roll down the windows and turn up Charlotte Church and rock out to that and everyone would look at us like we were crazy.
"And you would make sure I was always on time for everything basketball, school, parties you name it, I was on time. Speaking of basketball, you would always be there to cheer me on. My main supporter. Not one person has ever been like that to me.
"Remember that time when I was at my choir concert and you were like, 'Go, Taylor-Bug! Woohoo!' and I got so embarrassed. All my friends were like, 'Your mom's so cool. I wish my mom was as cool as yours.' And I would just smile and say, 'Yeah, I know.' Even though I was so embarrassed, I loved it. All those things you used to do to embarrass me were so awesome.
"Mom, you are by far the most amazingly best mother any child would even think about having. You're my hero. All the things you went through and are going through, you're still very strong. When I become a mother, I hope I'm half as good as you. Without you in my life and all the struggles you and I have gone through, I wouldn't be any of what I am to this day.
"God has everything happen for a reason. I know it's hard to really believe that. I have to ask God everyday, 'Why is this all happening?' But something good will come out of this. No one could/will/would/can replace you. You're so special and I love you with all my heart, forever and always."
