In 1925, she was united in marriage to Prescott L. Powell in Julesburg, Colo. They lived in Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyo., and Fort. Morgan, Colo., moving to North Platte in 1949. She worked at the Veterans Hospital when in Cheyenne and St. Mary's Hospital and Linden Manor while in North Platte.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was in charge of the church welfare centers for several years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald; her husband; parents; two sisters, Agnes Vierson and Alice Fuller; and four brothers, Frank, Edward, Adolf and Fred.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Milliken officiating. Burial will follow at the Maywood Cemetery in Maywood.
