In 1929 she began working for Birdseye and North Marion Fruit Company in Woodburn, Oregon. In October 1931 she married Willard P. Branigar of Woodburn, who preceded her in death on January 13, 1980. She moved to a nursing home in Portland in 1995 and then to Gresham in 2000. She is survived by a step-son Harley Branigar of Tualatin, Oregon; two grandsons, Thomas Branigar of Abilene, Kansas, and Jonathan Branigar of Klamath Falls, Oregon; a niece, Luella Benton of Lake Havasu, Arizona; and several cousins, including June Stiltner of Roseburg and Doris Miller of Florence, Oregon on Wednesday, 26 June 2002 Roseburg, Douglas County, Oregon.
