JUNCTION CITY -- Charles "Chuck" Rose, 88, Junction City, died Sunday, March 12, 2006.
Mr. Rose was born June 7, 1917, in Stockton. He was a lab and X-ray tech at Geary Community Hospital, retiring in 1982.
Survivors include his wife, Alice, of Junction City; two daughters, Shelia Connolly of Maplewood, Minn., and Dinah Wulff of Royal Oak, Mich; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Junction City. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Junction City.
Memorials may be made to the church or Geary Community Hospital Foundation.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church.

Alice graduated from Junction City High School in 1938. She was a lifetime resident of Junction City. She worked as a bookkeeper for Goreham Motors and as a Payroll Clerk for USD #475.
She married Charles Rose on June 16, 1940 in Junction City. Mrs.Rose was a member of the Lyons Creek 4-H Club, First United Methodist Church, Junction City Pilot Club, Doting Grandma's Club and several bridge clubs.
Mrs. Rose is survived by two daughters, Sheila Connolly and Dinah Wulff. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2006 and two sisters, Marjorie Meadows and Betty Atkinson.
