Survivors include his wife Lu of Carson City; two sons, Rick and wife, Linda Rogers and Darrel Rogers of Huntley, Mont; two daughters, Louise and husband Bill Quirk of Sacramento, Calif., and Susan Carlson of Shepherd, Mont; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one brother, Harvey and wife, Terry Rogers of Lakeside, Mont; step-daughter, Linda and husband, Jerry Hurst of Incline Village, Nev; and step-son, Danny and wife, Janelle Dubbs of Grand Island, Neb; seven-step grandchildren and his very special cat, Pilgrim. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill requested that no services be held. Cremation will be under the direction of Capitol City Cremation and Burial Scoeity. His families will scatter his ashes at a private ceremony. Donations may be sent to Saint Mary's Hospice, 33264 Goni Road No. 151, Carson City, NV 89706. Remember him by planting a rose bush or a tree, by feeding the birds, or by adopting a cat.
